The SPIIND Revolutionary VR Headset. 

Loki Dynamics is introducing the SPIIND ‘Sea Calm’ VR headset range from New Zealand to the UK, aiming to transform maritime health by tackling seasickness without medication. Unlike typical VR devices, these headsets create a calming, immersive experience that avoids motion sickness. Developed by SPIIND Maritime & Defence, the range includes Sea Lite, Sea Calm, and Sea Pro—designed for entry-level, commercial, and defence users, respectively. Packaged in IP67-rated waterproof cases, the headsets offer rapid relief within 7–12 minutes, enhancing well-being, reducing costs, and improving staff retention. Loki will showcase the technology at Seawork 2025.

'Shocking' news as British companies collaborate to conquer seating issues

Three British companies have collaborated to launch a new range of shock mitigation seating, designed specifically to withstand the harsh marine environment.  LOKI Dynamics, Sea Sure and Shock WBV revealed the new Fenrir range of seating on the opening day of Seawork. 

Seawork sees hand over of first Sea Calm anti-sickness immersive VR headsets

Diverse Marine is the first company to take delivery of the Sea Calm, winner of Seawork’s Spirit of Innovation Award. The anti-seasickness headsets were handed over by Andy Hughes of European distributor Loki Dynamics to Ben Colman, Director of Diverse Marine on the Seacat Constellation Crew Transfer Vessel at Seawork.
